2 Corinthians 3:18 (AV)
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Timothy 1:7 (AV)
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Proverbs 27:17 (AV)
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Hebrews 10:25 (AV)
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another:
and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Ephesians 5:19 (AV)
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Psalm 100:1-2 (AV)
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Hebrews 6:3-4

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ,
let us go on unto perfection; not laying again
the foundation of repentance from dead works,
and of faith toward God,
Of the doctrine of baptisms,
and of laying on of hands,
and of resurrection of the dead,
and of eternal judgment.

"Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord [Jesus (ref. v. 14)], the vail shall be taken away" (2 Corinthians 3:16).

Paul is quoting from Exodus and is thus correlating Christ with the God of the Old Testament.

"But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off" (Exodus 34:34a).
