hello, i am making a database of the atproto ecosystem and recently added a page with a table of bsky clients and their supported features. https://atproto-tools.getgrist.com/p2SiVPSGqbi8/atproto-tools/p/41/m/fork. You can right-click any column header to sort or filter by that column. This link is to a *fully editable* copy of the database (if you want to help edit the main version, please let me know). More info about the database proper here (probably mostly of interest to dev-oriented folk).

context: saw this thread yesterday which had a lot of demand for bookmarks and drafts. i was able to find two bluesky clients that are open source, work on android and support both of those:

skywalker
tokimeki (also usable on the web)

the main table has more clients that only support one or the other.

However, i can only test linux or android apps and some of the existing data may be inaccurate, as i tested everything manually and may have missed some features. Again, if i missed your favorite client and/or you want to contribute and fill in data, please DM! I can give you edit permissions on the db.

  • On Mastodon you can post, create or join servers/Instances (e.g. like ones for foodies), and do it all ad-free.
  • Hive Social offers a chronological feed and other features you liked from the good ol’ days.
  • Truth Social is, yep, Trump’s social app. And apparently, he’s in no rush to return to Twitter.
  • Herd Social matches you with members with like interests.
  • HeyCafe is built to be “a safe place for people to hang out.” It has no ads, no promoted content, and just launched its latest update.
Btw, Elon might not actually care what you do anyway.
