Hey, Steven. Would you happen to be aware of any older resources from the 19th/18th century that defended the general reliability of Josephus as a historian? I'm aware of much of the older scholarship defending the Bible, but besides William Whiston I can't think of any older apologist who wrote on this subject in particular.



While they are mostly skeptics, the people on the Biblical Christian and History Forum have all sorts of Josephus material

That's Peter Kirby's site, right? Yeah, I have little patience for most of that stuff. I've occasionally checked out the forum over the years and it's usually been a den for Jesus mythicism and other far out there higher critical hyper skeptical nonsense.
