The attempt here is to dismiss the Bible Creation Sabbath that is properly kept by many Christians. And was kept by the Lord Jesus Christ (with various Jewish accusations of not following their unscriptural Sabbath laws, beautifully countered by Jesus.) The rabinnical / talmudic deception that it is really a Jewish/Hebrew Sabbath, not the Creation Sabbath, is key.
If we understand that this is part of the Noachide tyranny, we will get the picture. Under that tyranny, the Gentiles / Goyim cannot be true sabbath keepers, under penalty of execution. (Details in post below by Faith Mountain Media, I remember learning about this in Jerusalem some years back.)
Thanks for posting on this Jana, I just implore you to give honorable recognition to the Creation Sabbath of the Old Testament and New. The 4th of the Ten Commandments. Remember, Christians used to honor the 10.
And various dodges are used ... abrogated, trivialized, transference to Sunday, spiritualization, subsumed in Jesus, shadowized, non-essentialized, dispensationalized. The very fact that all these contradictory "outs" are offered just make us suspicious, and fervent inquirers for the Bible Faith.
You can tell how fundamental is a Bible doctrine by how convoluted and confused are the various attempts to dismiss it as false.
