This theme about the Roman false gospel is pointed out in some historical books about Christianity.

Savior Gods in the Mediterranean World was published in 1980 and then 1989 in Documents For The Study Of The Gospels edited by David R. Cartlidge and David L. Dungan. Plus there is a book on Ancient Roman Religion by Frederick Clifton Grant in 1957.

And I saw the video some years back, and felt it was quite good. Unusual for Homestead Heritage to touch on the origins of Christianity issues. Plus, Blair's narration is artistic, powerful, compelling, and he may well have been involved in developing the material for the DVD.

Maybe I will watch it again and consider your critique. :) I appreciate your bringing up for discussion.
