This mini-essay I recommend, especially for those who have been involved in Homestead Heritage. And you can share with your friends. The issues are salient, and you can compare your own experiences, and share more excellently, thought and counterpoint. Homestead Heritage folks will generally be familiar with the unusual "Yahweh-worship" centrality of the fellership, and the "prayer" and travail and worship and song unto that spirit-name.
Clearly it might help if you have familiarity with the studies that show that "yahweh" is simply the pagan-demon referenced in Acts 14 "Jupiter" (jove-pater, where the Latin jove is spoken as yahweh). And the studies show how this deception was foisted upon segments of Christendom by unbelievers in the 1800s. And this "jupiter" - this yahweh - was the historical abomination that desecrated the Temple. We will not even bother here with the counterfeit accompanying fabrication "yahshua". Yahwehism and False Prophecies and Visions of Harm and Destruction
There has been over the years at Homestead Heritage an unusual phenomenon on occasion of a prophecy or vision, relying on "yahweh", of conditional accidents and harm. Perhaps even the death of loved ones. e.g. A supposed auto accident that could be forthcoming with metal a-crunching.
Such words from "yahweh" are not from the Lord Jesus Christ.
James 3:11 (AV)
Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
The first occasion that I know where this occurred was even way back in the 1970s, when the fellership was far more sound and pure and Bible-based than today. In a sense, back then it was an aberration, and the case I remember clearest involved visitors at a meeting. Albeit an aberration that was very striking and very wrong.
Now the gentleman who delivered the 1970s non-prophecy of destruction, and other non-prophecies, given as "thus sayeth yahweh" was, much later, called out for false prophecies (however, the yahweh root of the problem was not discovered and exposed.) And the concept could in some cases be defended, albeit quite questionably, by the Ananias and Sapphira experience in Acts 5.
Ironically, and sadly, this very same gentleman, even after the years of false prophecy invoking this pagan and demon "yahweh", has continued in the same vein of yahweh promotion. And has foisted a stonewall mentality upon the Homestead Heritage ministry, where the evil of yahweh can not really be examined. Various excuses are given and the ministry elders and leaders, so far, publicly, fall into line. It is all rather amazing. And the new stonewall no dialogue approach demonstrates the tremendous and subtile problem of yahweh-bondage.
The beautiful and proper scriptural responses are now unknown at Homestead Heritage:

And their own public declaration in "Response to Criticism" inviting:
"openly contesting our actual beliefs on intellectual or religious grounds"
turns out to fall flat to the ground.
And not surprisingly, the very same gentleman who has the history of false yahweh prophecies has come up with, and parroted from others, various sophistry arguments contra the excellence, majesty and perfection of our pure and perfect AV, from the Received Text. This gentleman has led the charge of confusion of multiple conflicting corruption versions being used by Homestead Heritage members. Even the new age abomination The Message is in homes. All this English version text diversity, diversion and confusion is in order to keep the members (situational, transitional, etc) reliant upon the elders words over the actual pure and perfect Bible, which the members (when I was fully involved in the 70s and 80s, there was no such thing as membership) are taught is corrupted. This gentleman also planted the seed which led to Blair Adams speaking of Homestead Heritage weeding out the corruption of the English Bibles through their own labours and new edition. Similarly, this gentleman, especially in the more turgid and convoluted Homestead Heritage literature, has honed version smorgasbording to a high art of scriptural deception. And then, to add insult to injury, we see bylines wrongly given as Blair Adams.
Returning to our main topic du jour.
These types of pseudo-prophecies or "visions" can have quite an effect, immediate and lingering, when given by those believed by the hearer to be speaking with Godly authority.
And it is possible that the gentlemen speaking falsely could, in other ways and places, actually be speaking under an anointing from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 11:29 (AV)
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
As a simple example, the teachings around culture, and homesteading and and crafts, were not derived from the yahweh evil. Even the underlying concepts of Christian community and a five-fold ministry authority, which arose in the early 1970s, may be sound and functional. And could be given as part of Christian understanding.
Now, those who see this occur (i.e. yahwehistic destruction words spoken as ministry) or who have had this as a personal experience, should be aware that such destruction utterances, rhema, given in the pagan and demonic name "yahweh", are in fact quite akin to witchcraft. A work of the flesh (Galatians 5:20).
Let us speak humbly and squarely before the Lord Jesus Christ, and discern rightful judgement.

Recently, I felt impelled by the Holy Spirit to share with a precious and dear friend and brother at Homestead Heritage about this concern. That there could be a tendency in ministry for negative "prayers" of obstruction and harm to be brought forth by this yahweh demon. This is a totally false name, and does not call upon the Father.

That men may know that thou,
whose name alone is JEHOVAH,
art the most high over all the earth.
And we know the Father through the Son.

Whosoever denieth the Son,
the same hath not the Father:

Thus we do not travail in prayer unto Jehovah, we call upon the Lord Jesus Christ. And, most certainly, our prayers and travail should never be within a country mile of oy-vey.
And I gave my brother a gentle warning that he should desist from invoking oy-vey (my fav alternative name for the abomination, "no-way" is good as well.)

And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect:
and make no mention of the name of other gods,
neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.
And he should not get drawn into such witchcraft sessions of "prayer" unto oy-vey.
Thus we need the shield of the pure word of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, the perfect shield against the oy-vey principality, spiritual wickedness in high places.

And the Lord Jesus then helped with clarity and understanding. Thank you Lord Jesus for your ministering grace and mercy!
Two and three gathered in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ have an authority and purity that can never be reached by groups of elders or even a huge room groaning .. "ohhh yahwehhhh." While they mentally may think they are calling on the Father, in fact they have been tricked and deceived, and are crying out to a demon entity. If they were mature Christians with the pure Bible, this would be easy to discern. However, there is a type of subtile yahweh-bondage brainwashing at work.
