Regarding the Waldensian Bible supposedly being only the Vulgate, the Rheims preface says: "... in the days of Charles V. (1338–1380)...

May seem random, but I think it is connected. Isn't the original Olivetan Bible a translation of the Waldensian Romaunt Bible?

Sorry, just noticed the first word in Erasmus's quote there should be "Hic" not "Hie." And "[p. xviii.j" should be "[p. xviii.]"
