In the Gennadius catalog
In Greek and English. It is bound in the same volume as the previous item. The text is a bilingual treatise with continuous pagination. This copy bears a handwrittendedication by Simonidis: “To the Editor of the Times with the Author’s Compli-ments.” The editor of the Times around 1860 was John Thaddeus Delane (1817–1879), whose library was sold at London in February 1899. This item, like the two following nos., concerns another of Simonidis’ major interests, Egypt and its hieroglyphs.
