a rainy Sunday afternoon while the world is melting but at least I managed to get a copy of the letter Constantine Simonides wrote in Greek (supposedly in 1860) where he cheekily calls Codex Sinaiticus "Codex Simoneidios" (The Guardian, Aug. 26, 1863, p. 18)
