Based on the Sept 1841 manuscript at Athos, and the dates given by Farmakidis, the visit with the manuscript and Michael Fotiadis would be in late 1841, and thus the Patriarch would be Anthimos the 5th, although the 4th could likely be in Constantinople too.

Note also that Farmakidis has Anthimos V as the one who is more friendly to the Symi family (Fotiadis et al(

On PBF I have a page where I am collating the 1841 quotes and timeline. There are about 8 distinct sources, including the

Sinaiticus narrative,
Stewart bio,
Lambrou ms.,
5024 Simonides note (Holy Community Ms)
Farmakidis
Lilia,
patriarch dates
Dates on letters of recommendation,

And 100% precision is nice, but not required.
My main concern is Anthimos IV or V as patriarch at the time of the manuscript xfer. The evidence for V is reasonably compelling. They would likely both know of the events.
=====
There is also a date of a ms where Simonides wrote Benedict material, still a WIP on year.

As was to be expected, the Ecumenical Patriarch refused to grant the autocephaly of the alleged "Greek Church" which he had never recognized. It was not until 17 years later that the schism was brought to an end. With the Synodal Decree (Tomos) of June 29, 1850, Patriarch Anthimos IV granted autocephaly to the Church of Greece and it gained proper jurisdictional independence on May 1, 1853 - a hard blow to the conservatives who feared the intrusion of Western powers towards a synod controlled by the Bavarian Monarchy.

time afterwards he and his brother Photius were placed as pupils in the school at Aegina by

Simonides arrived at Odessa in the month of November,
1841, and remained a long time in Russia, occupied in
profitable studies, always continuing under tho watchful care
of the illustrious General and Councillor S. Stourtzos, a cousin
of the present Prince Stourtzas, of Wallachia, to whom ho
subsequently acted as private secretary. Whilst in Russia

What text of Simonides would favor May 5 (Anthimos IV) over May 10 (Anthimos
v).
