You can see the "phenomenally good condition" (Helen Shenton, British Library) of the manuscript at two videos, one recent from the BBC, and one from 1933. two videos of Sinaiticus - flexible, easy-peasy page turning - 1933 England receives, BBC Beauty of Books 2011 https://www.purebibleforum.com/inde...gland-receives-bbc-beauty-of-books-2011.1432/ And this is before you get into the history of Simonides and the team working on the ms. at Mount Athos in 1840. And the streaking, colouring that was done to the part of the ms. that remained after the 1844 Tischendorf abstraction (theft) of 43 leaves. Tischendorf basically hid the amazing condition of the manuscript away from the scholars and palaeographers of his time by having it essentially unavailable at St. Petersburg and Leipzig. When the ms. became visible in 2009 by the Codex Sinaiticus Project, the jig was up, however the modern textual scholars are a little slow. :)
