The removal of Mark 16:9-20 is one of the most wicked acts, the most insane beliefs and makes all new versions promoters hypocrites and con men.

The AV and almost all other Received Text and Reformation Bible editions and commentators rejected the "majority" of manuscripts. (The only exception of which I am aware was the Greek and Latin of the Complutensian Polyglot.) So their readings were pure and true. None of this true.

There are some instances where I can accept even what looks like a conflated Byzantine text, as set against the Caesarean and Western text, especially where the Byzantine is supported by another text type. One example is Acts 15:29, where both Byzantine and Alexandrian have the four standard apostolic prohibitions on the Gentiles, whereas the Western and Caesarean have a threefold decree and are different from each other and from the Byzantine/Alexandrian.

Acts 15:29 & 15:20 are ones which are complex to figure out, and many authors have labored for hours on it. There seem to be two theories: one that P45 is the original text and one where the Byzantine/Alexandrian is the original. But according to Colwell, the scribe of P45 "wielded a sharp axe."
