Hello, I am Oseas, I’m new here. I’m a Christian for decades, I live in the south of Brazil, near Argentina. English is not my native language, but I will try to do the best I can to be understood.

I did find this Christian site and would like to share with the brothers in Christ on my faith in the LORD JESUS Christ and my strong belief in the Word of God.

I am focused in Philippians 3:v.20-21(combined with Luke 20:v.35-36)

20 - For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

21 - Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

When I was born my parents were believers, I have been a believer since my mother's womb, my parents were true believers in Christ Jesus, both had wonderful gifts given by God to my father and mother, but all my dad's family were devout Catholics (this was before year 1.936) , but my father preached the Gospel of Jesus to all of them, and most of them converted to Jesus through my father's evangelistic work, and they built a temple, and were converted forever, they died in Christ, and now they await the resurrection determined for this current time, as well as the return of JESUS-1 Thessalonians 4:v.15-17. Hallelujah.

We the believers know that our Redeemer lives, as Job also said, still in great suffering for what the Devil had done to him, under my GOD's permission.

Job 19:v.21 to 27

21 Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of GOD hath touched me.

22 Why do ye persecute me as GOD, ...?

23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!

24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

25 For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter Day upon the earth: ( This Day arrived - https://purebibleforum.com/index.ph...xactly-240-years-in-the-jewish-calendar.2354/ )

26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see GOD: - Hallelujah! -

27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

GOD BLESS HIS PEOPLE NOW AND FOREVER
Amen

My father was born on October 28, 1893, my mother on February 4, 1900, both were born in the city of Jacareí, in a region in the interior of the State of São Paulo. At that time the official religion of Brazil was Catholicism, in fact since its discovery in 1500 by the navigators of the King of Portugal, so the whole family of my parents, my grandparents, my ancestors, were traditionally Catholics.

In 1906 Missionary Anne Andrews arrived in São Paulo and then moved to the city of Jacareí where were born my parents, by the way, it was the first city to receive the Gospel through Missionary Anne Andrews and her husband Dr. Graham who, in October 1906, responded to the appeal made to believers in Toronto, Canada, to evangelize Brazil. At the time, there was no evangelical work in the city of Jacareí where my parents were born, and the Roman Catholic Church sovereignly dominated the people, fiercely opposing evangelicals. But the Missionary Anne Andrews began distributing literatures and gospels, visiting the sick and working as a midwife. She made herself known to some, sowing the seed of the Gospel into the minds and hearts of all she knew.
It was at this time that my parents came to know the Gospel of JESUS through Missionary Anne Andrews (both still single-my parents were married in 1928. I was born on December 19, 1936).

In 1911, there was a merger of the Regions Beyond Missionary Union, and the South American Evangelical Mission, and was born the South American Evangelization Union, and in 1913, the Help for Brazil Mission which had been founded by the widow of the first missionary with a project permanent in Brazil, Dr. Robert R. Kalley, joined the new Mission, which played a prominent role in evangelization, absorbing active workers and sending many others, such as: Archibald and Bonina Tipple, James and Daisy Fanstone, Josias and Rettie Wilding, Arthur W. Archibald and Mildred Anna, Oliver and Dorothy Thomson, W. S. Forsyth, Tom and Rénne Macintyre, Henry and Betty Bacon, John and Ann Barnett, among others.

All of them now await the resurrection and the reward for the work they have done for the enhancement of the kingdom of God. Isn't it wonderful?

Revelation 11:v.15 to 18

15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be Judged, and that thou should give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and should destroy them which destroy the earth.

Amen

What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord. I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all His people. Psalm 116:12-14

Psalm 1:1-6

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the Judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Praise the Lord

John 20: 1-22

20 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.

5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.

9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:
