Feb 25, 2024 (1/6) We now have 146 elected officials, 127 candidates, 1 Surgeon General and 1 Republican Party County Committee from 39 states publicly stating the COVID shots must be pulled off the market and pledging not to take donations from Big Pharma. Over 17,000 physicians stand behind them.
- let’s see how long Nextdoor allows us to even discuss the possibility. Notice that there are many signatures, few in NY, it is true that the no dona

Show me the 17000 doctors, because this sounds like nonsense. And let's be clear - I've yet to find one of those candidates or elected officials (outside of the 1 state Surgeon General) who has any kind of medical background. So you are basing a medical decision on a political belief that Covid vaccines are harmful. This is the same kind of irresponsible BS that's got Measles - a disease we defeated - running through grade schools in Florida where you have an absolute quack for a state Surgeon General. I am betting money he's the same one listed above. Let's hope that no one in Dutchess is dumb enough to fall for this garbage.
two points: - Post says "doctors" not Physicians. (Doctors include non medical PHDs) - Even if he means 'Active Medical doctors in the US', 17000 would be 1.7% of all actively practicing physicians in the US. So maybe there are that many that many anti-vax doctors. (LOL)
- it is very difficult for MD’s to be publicly speaking of vaccination dangers to health and life, since it will put their medical license at risk. In the media and tech worlds, pharma influences largely through advertising $$$. As Steven Melendez points out, political influence is bought largely by donations, giving us the best politicians money can buy! Mary Talley Bowden, MD, can be easily contacted on Twitter.
I just want you to be aware when this post is taken down: There is a time and place for politics. On Nextdoor that PLACE is in separate groups labeled: Politics. No one is taking away your first-amendment rights by removing this post. Politics are not to be discussed in the Nextdoor "General" thread. This is explicitly stated in the user agreement that you signed up for.
are you saying your reporting it because your on the review team? So the few of the review team that constantly report people are meeting to do the usual? Just trying understand

Anyone can report anything, a user does not need to be on the review team. A person on the review team does not have "stronger" reporting power than any other user. I report comments and posts when they directly violate ND guidelines. That report is then looked at by "review team" members and does not include myself, because I cannot review my own report. Review team members also don't "meet" with each other and do not, in my experience, have discussion about reported content. It is a simple blind vote. Again, just to drive this home: a user who is not on the review team can go around reporting whatever they want, that doesn't mean it will be removed. There is also a ND automated reporting system that will flag or even remove posts/comments that use certain words that is then sent to review team members.
