Two major points right now.

Is Agamemnon Tselikas interested in Sinaiticus?
Any views?

Constantius and Simonides

We could use the Greek to match these
There is a lot on this page, let's just focus on the question of correspondence between Constantius and Simonides is there a source?

At the end of 1841, Michael Fotiadis went to Constantinople, where he knew many people because of his long teaching activity312, to settle the issues of Panormitis. That is, he recommended its transformation into a "Crusader's House313". He also went to deliver the books written by his brother to the Holy Synod. He apparently took his nephew Constantine with him, for it appears that both of them were at this time going to Constantinople to see the Patriarch on different business each.

Constantine 1st would subsequently become associated with Constantine Simonides and dedicate several books to him. He was a very good connoisseur of palaeography, perhaps one of the best in the Greek world. Constantine never ceased to correspond and have contacts with him. Constantius 1st (Simonides says that) also studied at Agia Marina in Symi. He will be one of those who will introduce him to Countess Roxandra Sturtza.

Thanks! I will try him again from my end. Are you still studying palaeography with Agamemnon? (Has Sinaiticus come up?)_ He has done advanced science work on DNA on manuscripts, Dr. Ira Rabin is hoping to study Sinaiticus

One other question from your book:

Do we have any sources that show those dedications, or more importantly, their correspondence?
Any help or ideas greatly appreciated!

Hello, We have finished the first course with Mr. Tselika. We will continue in October. The Sinaitic Code was not the subject of our lessons. For evidence of Simonides' relations with Constantius, apart from Simonides' books, the relations of Constantius, Sturtzas and Oikonomos ex Oikonomos that arise from their correspondence, I don't remember having anything else. I will have to look again at the various documents I have.

As far as I understand, Simonides did not write the Codex. One has to read my whole book to understand what happened in Sinai during those years and why Simonides did not write the Sinaitic Code but instead tried to help the friends of the Sinai monk who had all attacked them for the possible concession such a treasure to the Russians. He was the only one who could convince everyone that he wrote it. If the monks said that they wrote it, no one would believe them!!!!

Words from Faramakidis to Kirk

Farmikidis answer on Simonides/Constantius

Simonides' relationship with Constantios is documented by his acquaintance with his father Simon Hatzikostas who went to Constantinople for issues of Symi and there are minutes of the discussions. But we see that Constantios also had close relations with Sturtzas where Simonides stayed with him for some years. After all, Simonides would not have been able to have relations with Sturtzas and his sister if Constantios had not introduced him. His uncle Michael Fotiadis was also the teacher of Zakharov's Consul of Russia in Constantinople. The whole family of Simonides eventually had relations with a circle of people in Constantinople in which Constantius was included. After all, who was paying Simonides' expenses for all the trips he took? Who introduced him to the English who took him to England? Who introduced him to the Russians and did they deal with him for so many years? Another person who introduced him to this circle was Dendrinos, a close friend of Benedict's uncle, etc.
